The investigations were conducted to determine the effect of microelement fertilizers, i.e. Mikrovit Fe - iron chelate and Mikrovit Mn - manganese chelate, recommended for agronomic and vegetable crops and in orchards, on linear growth, biomass increment and sporulation of Fusarium culmorum fungi in vitro. The obtained results have demonstrated that F. culmorum fungus response to the applied microelement fertilizers and their different concentrations is not unanimous. From among the tested microelement fertilizers, Mikrovit Mn limits linear growth and impairs F. culmorum ability for spore production, irrespective of its concentration in the medium. On the other hand it favours air mycelium development and therefore biomass increment. Mikrovit Fe revealed weaker properties limiting the test fungi linear growth but it more strongly impeded biomass incrernent. Microvit Fe concentrations of 0.1 and 1.0 mm3/cm3 in the medium stimulate F. culmorum sporulation process.
Celem podjętych badań było określenie wpływu nawozów mikroelementowych, tj. Mikrovit Fe - chelat żelaza i Mikrovit Mn - chelat manganu zalecanych do stosowania w uprawach rolniczych, warzywniczych i sadach na wzrost liniowy, przyrost biomasy i zarodnikowanie grzyba Fusarium culmorum w warunkach in vitro. Uzyskane wyniki wskazują, że reakcja grzyba F. culmorum na zastosowane nawozy mikroelementowe i ich różne stężenia nie jest jednoznaczna. Spośród badanych nawozów mikroelementowych Mikrovit Mn niezależnie od koncentracji w podłożu ogranicza rozrost liniowy i osłabia zdolność F. culmorum do wytwarzania zarodników. Z kolei sprzyja rozwojowi grzybni powietrznej a tym samym przyrostowi biomasy. Mikrovit Fe wykazał słabsze właściwości w ograniczeniu wzrostu liniowego grzyba testowego, natomiast silniej ograniczał przyrost biomasy. Stężenia 0,1 i 1,0 mm3/cm3 Mikrovitu Fe w podłożu stymulują proces zarodnikowania F. culmorum.
