Porównano skuteczność usuwania zanieczyszczeń organicznych z wody w procesach filtracji powolnej i koagulacji w latach 2000-2002.
Removal of organic impurities from water by slow filtration and coagulation processes is presented. Percentages of reduction values of colour, permanganate value, ultraviolet absorbance ([lambda] = 254 um) and TOC are used for evaluation of effectiveness of impurities removal. Results show that a chemical coagulation process is more effective than slow filtration process with a natural biological, straining and sorption actions.
