Przebieg symulacji numerycznej obejmuje dwa etapy obliczeniowe. W pierwszym wyznacza się dyskretne ustalone pola prędkości średniej i lepkości turbulentnej, a następnie niestacjonarne pola stężeń zanieczyszczeń gazowych. Symulację numeryczną wykonano dla dwóch długości wyrobiska ślepego: 10 m i 15 m, oraz dla czterech wartości średnich prędkości przepływu powietrza w wyrobisku korytarzowym: 1 m/s, 2 m/s, 3 m/s i 4 m/s. Wyniki obliczeń, obrazujące ustalone pole prędkości i nieustalone pole stężeń domieszek gazowych w obszarze wnęki, przedstawiono w postaci graficznej.
Mathematical model of mass and momentum turbulent transport and its application to the solutions of some mine ventilation problems are presented in the paper. There is considered the gas flow in blind cavity, which is generated by the main airflow along the gallery. Mathematical model consists of continuity and Navier-Stokes equations, which together with the k-epsylon turbulence model for low-Reynolds numbers creates the closed equations system. Because among the seeking flow--fields variables are the gaseous contaminant, than the additional equation is added: namely transport equations for chemical species. The study consists of two parts. In the first one steady fields of velocity and turbulent viscosity are calculated. The second stage includes the digital simulations of time-dependent gas concentration fields inside the cavity. Numerical calculations are performed for two length of cavity -10 m and 15m- and four values of airflow velocities: 1 m/s, 2 m/s, 3 m/s and 4 m/s. Simulation results are presented in graphical form.
