W artykule przedstawione zostały wyniki obliczeń przyrostu temperatury dymu w podobnych geometrycznie obiektach, tj. kotłowni przemysłowej i atrium biurowca, w przypadku pożaru o mocy 5 i 25 MW.
This article presents the results of calculations of temperature rise of smoke in geometrically similar objects: an industrial boiler plant and atrium in office building in case of fire with heat release rate 5 MW and 25 MW. Due to the different function of both objects and different amounts of heat transferred to the surroundings only different variable in the input data is assumed temperature of the indoor space. In the industrial boiler plants we are dealing with a situation in which during normal operation is emitting very large amount of heat. Despite the significant height of the object it is not necessary to use it in the mechanical ventilation system. Based on these results it can be stated that in the industrial boiler plants there is constant gravity pull that even in case of a small heat release rate of fire will extract smoke to the lifting points.
