The EU budget for 2014-2020 will be the next major financial injection to support the government's long-term plan to expand the network of motorways in Poland. To this end, the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways is currently implementing a number of changes in its investment processes both in the field of cooperation with contractors and major technological guidelines. As a result, as many as half of the planned routes are to be implemented in concrete technology.
