The paper investigates a landslide that occurred in the Śnieżnik Massif (SW Poland) in July 2011 after the heavy rainfall. Damage to the infrastructure in Międzylesie and Lądek Zdrój forest districts, in which the losses were the most extensive, are presented. Study analyses not only weather conditions, but also geo− morphologic and hydrologic factors associated with the occurrence of the mass movement.
