Liczebnie dominowały trzmiele ziemny/gajowy i trzmiel kamiennik stanowiące 92% zgrupowania. Najczęściej oblatywanymi kwiatami były kwiaty lebiodki pospolitej (Origanum vulgare L. - 18,8% odwiedzin), hyzopu lekarskiego (Hyssopus officinalis L. - 17,5%), jeżówki purpurowej (Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench - 15,1%) i lawendy lekarskiej (Lavandula officinalis L. - 15%). Roślinami najmniej chętnie odwiedzanymi były ruta zwyczajna (Ruta graveolens L.) i nawłoć pospolita (Solidago virgaurea L.).
The study on bumble bees visiting the flowers of 12 species of herbal plants were accomplished in years 2006-2007 at Piastów, near Wroclaw, Poland. From the observed flowers the total of 1364 bumble bees (Bombus spp.) were recorded with the B. terrestris/ lucontm and B. lapidarius as the predominating species. The greatest abundance of bumble bees was observed on the flowers of Lamniacea i.e. on marjoram (Origanum vulgare L.), hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis L.) and lavender (Lavandula officinalis L.) and on Echinacea purpurea from family Asteracea. The least attractive for bumble bees were rue Ruta graveolens L. and Solidago virgaurea L.
