In the first part of the paper the author begins to analyse a database which is collected by the Training Centre of the National Institute for Family and Social Policy. The author points out that in the Hungarian care provision there are more employees with social qualifications than before, but their numbers are still insufficient because a lot of social workers are without proper certification. To get a social qualification is not a simple thing when the persons are on the job, in that case it would take many years on the average.
