The problems discussed in the earlier article (Ibid. nr 4 (2005) are continued in this elaboration. Several important problems were presented and discussed: -The methodology as well as procedures used while calculating the regional coefficients of the Standard Gross Margin '2002' according to codes related to the particular activities in both plant and animal production; -The consistency of typology system of Polish farms with the EU one; -The ways of verifying both the parameters used in these calculations and results obtained. The elaboration also presents the principles of farm classification according to the EU system called Common Typology System of Farms as well as examples of determining of the criteria according to which all the EU farms are grouped. In addition, methodological assumptions of the balance sheet of feeding area of farms are presented, considering different feed situations of a farm. The attached tables show regional coefficients of the Standard Gross Margin '2002' for codes determined by the EU regulations.
