The author of the article was the headmaster of a Polish Primary and Secondary School at the Polish Embassy in Moscow in the years 1991-1994. The presented material shows a 3-years' experience in forming the system of values through cultural education amongst children who were staying abroad for some period of time. The structure of cultural education was made of museum education - different for the children in 0-3 form and 4-8 form; theatrical, historical, and touristic. All those types of education turned out to be the inseparable part of didactic and educational process. In case of the youngest children it became part of their schedule. All mentioned above types of education were presented both from the functional and praxiological side.
