The fuzzy neural network technology is one of the hot topics of Data Mining. According to the Max Similarity Rule, this paper sets forth the cross entropy theory with formulae deduction in detail and a new activation function. Compare with the BP algorithm (error back propagation), which based on the error square sum rule and Sigmoid or Hyperbolical function, the classify algorithm based on the cross...
Computational discovery of DNA motifs is one of the major challenges in bioinformatics, which helps in understanding the mechanism of gene regulation. It has been reported that computational approaches have good potential for problem solving in terms of cost and time saving. Based on our previous studies, this paper aims to develop an evolutionary computation scheme to provide an alternative approach...
Though P2P grid has attracted great attention these days, trust management is still a complex and difficult task. This paper proposes a dynamic reputation management framework to enhance trust in the unstructured P2P Grid. The proposed model extends the normal trust model and takes the impact of the mobility of peers into account. Based on this framework, we show how to calculate, store, collect and...
Scene is the semantic unit in video. Video scene segmentation is a difficult task in content based video structure analysis. This paper proposes a new approach for scene boundary detection. We first construct shot content coherence signal using normalized cut criterion and then use a heuristic algorithm to detect scene boundary. Because the normalized cut criterion simultaneously emphasizes on the...
Discovery of transcription factor binding sites (TFBSs) or DNA motifs in promoter regions of genes plays a key role in understanding the regulations of gene expression. In the past decade computational approaches, including evolutionary computation techniques, for searching for motifs have demonstrated good potential, and some results reported in literature are quite promising. Recently, some favorable...
Out-of-order execution is a fundamental technique to achieve instruction-level parallelization in processor designs. The verification of out-of-order processor is a main challenge in processor design. This paper presents a formal method to model and check the correctness of out-of-order design at instruction level. This method is based on model checking, a widely used formal verification technique...
Verification is one of the most complex and expensive tasks in current application specific instruction-set processor (ASIP) design process. Many existing approaches utilize a multi-level strategy to efficiently design and verify ASIP aiming to discover the flaws earlier. This paper presents a verification approach based on HDPN (hardware design based-on Petri net) and NuSMV. The validation of static...
With the increasing requirements of fast response and privacy protection, how to detect network intrusions in a distributed architecture becomes a hot research area in the development of modern information security systems. However, it is a challenge to build such a system, given the difficulties brought by the mixed-attribute property of network connection data and the constraints on network communication...
Neural-networks technique is used to establish a self-adjusted compensator for tracing moving multi-object based on the sampled images. A novel genetic algorithm (NGA) is applied to optimize the weights of neural network rapidly. The algorithm is used for tracking the moving peoples. The results of simulation and experiment are given in the end. The validity of the algorithm is demonstrated.
