In the present study, the temperature fluctuations in tissues based on Penne’s bio-heat transfer equation is investigated by applying the Laplace and Hankel transforms. To get the solution in a physical form, a numerical inversion technique has been applied. The temporal and spatial distribution of temperature is investigated with the effect of relaxation time and is presented graphically.
Rayleigh-Taylor instability of Walters' B' elastico-viscous fluid through a porous medium is considered. For the stable configuration, the system is found to be stable or unstable if the kinematic viscoelasticity (assumed equal for both fluids) is less than or greater than the medium permeability divided by the medium porosity. However, the system is found to be unstable for the potentially unstable...
A layer of electrically conducting couple-stress fluid heated from below in porous medium is considered in the presence of uniform horizontal magnetic field. The medium permeability hastens the onset of convection whereas the magnetic field and couple-stress postpone the onset of convection, for the case of stationary convection. The oscillatory modes are introduced by the magnetic field which were...
The thermosolutal instability of Walters' (model B') elastico-viscous rotating fluid in a porous medium is considered in the presence of a uniform magnetic field and varying gravity field. For the case of stationary convection, the solute parameter delays the onset of convection. The system is stable or unstable as gravity increases or decreases in the presence of rotation and magnetic field stabilizes...
