This paper studies the multiple fault estimation problem for a class of complex networks. A new distributed intermediate estimator is proposed, which has improved the nominal distributed intermediate estimator in the sense that less conservative sufficient conditions are derived. A numerical example is given to substantiate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
The new bearingless doubly salient electro-magnetic machine (BDSEM) has advantages of robust structure, naturally decoupled characteristics of the torque and suspension control, and elimination of rotor angular position detection for the suspension control. However, due to the doubly salient pole structure, the instantaneous suspension force cannot be held constant with constant DC suspension current...
A new compound-excited doubly salient brushless dc (DSBLDC) generator with power tracking rectification is proposed, which is constituted by a doubly salient electromagnetic machine (DSEM) with split field windings and a simple switched-mode rectifier. The configuration and operation principle are introduced. The inductance features of the generator are analyzed for the utilization of series field...
A high-efficiency vertical binary blazed grating coupler is proposed. An 83% of efficiency and 65nm 3dB bandwidth are demonstrated. The tolerance of incident angle is 11.5°.
