The purpose of this article is to explain how a fuzzy linear programming model can be transformed into a fuzzy multi-objective linear programming model and then solved. An algorithm is developed to present our approach and fuzzy optimal solution is obtained. To demonstrate the efficiency and feasibility of the proposed approach, one numerical example has been solved.
This article proposes to handle multi objective linear fractional programming (MOLFP) problems in fuzzy environment. As a generalized mean value theorem first order Taylor series approach is used to convert multi objective linear fractional programming to multi objective linear programming problem by introducing imprecise aspiration level to each objective. Then additive weighted method has been used...
This paper presents a new electromagnetic modeling of a via-hole using a Wave Concept Iterative Procedure. There are specific TM modes associated with the insertion of the via-hole influencing the incident and reflected waves, called the “via's modes”. The formulation and results are presented considering the influence of one and two via's mode. The advantage of the model presented is the possibility...
The functionality of any type of antenna could be traced to the Maxwell's electromagnetic field equations. However, salient operational problems of antennas are traced back to the Maxwell's. The inclusion of the effects of particulate to either transmission or reception unit of antenna is paramount. The Schrodinger was used to model a now reformed Maxwell's equation which explains in details the electrostatic...
Auroral electric field is a probable source of Atmospheric Gravity Waves (AGW) in the thermospheric region of Auroral zone of the ionosphere and associated Traveling Ionospheric Disturbances (TID). This field is considered to be active through Lorentz force and Joule dissipation that influence the neutral gas of the medium through collision. The process introduces the short-range gravity waves. The...
This paper presents the development of a mathematical model applied to medium voltage electrical network planning to give support for capacitor placement decision task. For this goal, a linear mathematical model was developed to determine the location and power of the capacitor to improve the voltage level of the electrical system. The proposed model has linear objective function, linear constraints,...
An experiment was developed to validate the NICOLET B3 model. This model has two state variables: carbon content in the vacuoles and carbon content in the cell structure. Carbon dioxide, temperature and radiation taken inside a greenhouse were used as inputs to the model; the model gave out fresh and dry matter of lettuce aerial part. The model dynamic simulation was carried out using MatLab Simulink...
A comprehensive digital computer-based analysis using a state-space model which predicts the performance of a dc series motor controlled by a multiphase chopper is presented. The analysis is based on the formulation of system equations in multivariable state-space form and takes into account the nonlinear magnetization curve and the variation of field inductance with load current. The predicted results...
