We report on the response to a 120GeV proton beam of 9cm 2 area and 5mm thick scintillator tiles readout with an active area of 1 mm2 Hamamatsu MPPCs in pulse mode. The tile response is measured as a function of position and incident angle of a particle track determined with a silicon pixel detector.
