The thermal stability of lubricant films under various temperatures was examined by means of molecular dynamics simulation. The result showed that the lubricant desorption is favored over decomposition and is the major cause of lubricant failure on the disk surface. The surface tension of lubricant was calculated and analyzed as well.
Isocyanate-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (ITPDMS) was synthesized by the reaction of Hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (HTPDMS) with Toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and was used to modify epoxy resin (Diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A epoxy resin (DGEBA)). The chemical structure of ITPDMS and ITPDMS/ER was characterized by FTIR. The morphology of fracture surfaces of the ITPDMS/ER cured samples...
This experiment aimed to graft PP nonwoven fabric with a silane coupling agent, then process it with chitosan or AgNO3, next to analyse and test it with related instruments, such as FT-IR, NMR, SEM, EDS, TGA etc., and finally study the influence of the modification of the silane coupling agent on the properties of the processed fabric. The results indicated that the silane-coupling agent could be...
Si-Sb-Te (SST) system materials were investigated for non-volatile phase change memory application. By contrast to the conventional GST films, the SST films exhibit stronger thermal stability and smaller RESET current, which were resulted from the self-confine and self-heat mechanisms by the amorphous Si-rich regions surrounding the phase change crystalline in SST. It shows a good promise for non-volatile...
This paper investigates the emitter turn-off thyristor's (ETO's) high temperature operation from thermal stability point of view. The objective is to identify the electrical and thermal limitations to the high temperature application of the ETO. The loss characteristics of the ETO, including switching loss, conduction loss, and leakage loss are studied experimentally and analytically, at high junction...
