Multi‐echo spin‐echo (MESE) protocol is the most effective tool for mapping T2 relaxation in vivo. Still, MESE extensive use of radiofrequency pulses causes magnetization transfer (MT)‐related bias of the water signal, instigated by the presence of macromolecules (MMP).
