The hot band of CC AA 3105 aluminum alloy was cold-rolled to different reductions along the original rolling and transverse directions, and then annealed at 427°C for 24h. The deformation and recrystallization textures in these cold-rolled sheets were investigated by X-ray diffraction. The result shows that further rolling of the hot band along the original rolling direction incrementally strengthens...
The effect of recovery on the recrystallization texture of an Al–Mg alloy was investigated by X-ray diffraction. It was found that the recovery of cold-rolled sheets prior to recrystallization annealing promoted the formation of the R texture, but restrained the formation of the cube texture.
