A wideband single-layer microstrip reflectarray is investigated. Firstly, a new dual-resonance unit cell is proposed for the single-layer reflectarray, which provides an approximately linear phase response during 0-360° range. Additionally, its phase response curves are nearly parallel within a broad band, which can widen the bandwidth. Then, a 576-element reflectarray of size 12λ×12λ using the proposed...
A dual-band omni-directional monopole/dielectric resonator antenna fed by the substrate integrated coaxial line (SICL) is designed for 2.4/5 GHz WiFi application. Simulated results show that the fractional bandwidths are 10% and 50%, and the antenna gains are 1.8 dBi and 2.3 dBi at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, respectively.
An investigation of the performance of printed dipole antenna with finite periodically corrugated-reflectors for low-profile ultrawideband (UWB) applications is presented. According to the relative orientations of the linear-polarized source antenna and the corrugated-reflectors, the problem could be divided into H and E cases. Their fundamental differences and design guidelines are discussed in detail...
