In the paper, the method of splitting plane wave FDTD (SP-FDTD) algorithm, an efficient method of introducing plane wave source into finite difference time domain grids, is presented for solving oblique incident wave for the modified high-order FDTD (M24 scheme). Numerical examples in 2-D demonstrate the valid of the method and normalized field leakage was measured at -320 dB levels.
A high-order PE method has been derived and analyzed for solving multi-object RCS for the first time. Compared with the existing method SPE, the present method has following features: Firstly, boundary conditions including PML and scatterers boundary conditions can be handled as easy as SPE method. Secondly, to obtain the full bistatic RCS, we need only two rotated PE runs for high-order PE while...
In this paper, a similar but novel method presented in [3, 4], lifting wavelet-like transform (LWLT), is applied to the FMM method to sparsify the aggregation and disaggregation matrix. By compressing the elements in those two matrices in time, the method proposed can further speed up the MVM and save much memory when the FMM is used. Numerical results for different shaped three-dimensional objects...
