Feedforward and feedback control is developed in this work for proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell (FC) systems to do fault detection and isolation (FDI). The fault detection is achieved using a radial basis function (RBF) network model, whilst the fault isolation is based on the RBF classification. One actuator fault, one component fault and three sensor faults have been introduced to the PEMFC...
Active contours have been one of the most successful methods for image segmentation during the last two decades, but one of the shortcomings of being unable to converge to concavity is a handicap to its effectiveness. In order to address this issue, the gradient vector flow (GVF) was put forth. Although there have been a great number of works on GVF, the image structure has seldom been incorporated...
This paper presents a simulation of regenerative braking in DC railway system. The model of DC locomotive with DC-AC PWM convertor has been proposed which is according to Beijing No.5 Line Subway train. Based on the data of a practical train, this paper has made calculation of regenerative braking currents. The calculation has verified the correctness of the simulation model.
