A treatment of graphite fluoride C2F with hydrazine vapor resulted in development of conductive surface layer. Exposure of the reduced C2F sample to gaseous NH3 (∼5% in ambient air) was shown to lead to rapid increase in layer resistance. Relative change of resistance averaged over three cycles is ∼14%.
