This paper proposes a model predictive control scheme for a class of constrained nonlinear time-delay systems with guaranteed closed-loop asymptotic stability. Asymptotic stability of the closed-loop is guaranteed by utilizing an appropriate terminal cost functional and an appropriate terminal region. A novel structured procedure is derived to determine the terminal cost and the terminal region offline...
This paper presents an infinite horizon model predictive control (MPC) scheme for constrained linear parameter-varying systems. We assume that the time-varying parameter can be measured online and exploited for feedback. The proposed method is based on a parameter-dependent control law which is obtained via the repeated solution of a convex optimization problem involving linear matrix inequalities...
This paper considers a linear precoding for a Kalman filter which receives the measurements over an erasure channel. We show how to design the precoding matrix that either robustifies the Kalman filter with respect to packet losses or reduces the estimation error. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by two examples.
This paper deals with model order reduction for linear stable discrete-time systems while minimizing the lscrinfin-gain of the error system. Our approach considers explicitly time domain performance and not frequency domain performance like most other approaches do. A convex programming problem expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities combined with a line search algorithm is formulated to...
