We report a hybrid laser system with peak power of 1.02 PW based on LBO-OPCPA near 800 nm. The amplified energy of 45.3 J centered at 800 nm was generated with a conversion efficiency of 26.3%. After compression, the pulse duration was 32 fs.
A compact and tunable infrared optical parametric amplifier (IR-OPA) is introduced here, and the system consists of an internal seed of white-light continuum generator (WLG) and two noncollinear optical parametric amplifiers (NOPAs). The conversion efficiency reaches about 40% in a broadband tunable spectral range. Based on this IR-OPA system, we present the second harmonic generation (SHG) and the...
A novel tunable phase-stabilized infrared femtosecond source was developed with CEP stabilization and >1mJ pulse energy. Based on the laser source, a novel pulse clean technique is developed, and the 1011 contrast ratio is demonstrated.
