We derived a preemphased prime frequency multicarrier method to assess and optimize an integrated dual-carrier 1-Tb/s transmitter. A 64QAM (54 Gbaud) and a 32QAM (64 Gbaud) mode have been derived. Transmission experiments yield 295 and 620 km transmission reach.
We present the detailed analysis of the polarisation multiplexed scheme that enabled a 10Tb/s transmission over 300km. The optimisation is carried out with respect to cross-talk due to polarisation demultiplexing and polarisation mode dispersion.
