An all-optical minterm generator for three-input NRZ-DPSK signals is proposed and demonstrated based on SOAs and delay interferometers. Results are derived in OOK format. Experiment with two DPSK inputs is also carried out for comparison.
We present ultrawideband doublet and triplet generation from NRZ-DPSK signals based on optical fiber and filter. Doublet and triplet are obtained by locating the optical carrier at the peak and slope of the filter, respectively.
We experimentally demonstrate all-optical 40 Gbit/s multicasting XOR logic gate for NRZ-DPSK signals by using non-degenerate four-wave mixing (FWM) in a highly linear fiber (HNLF). Triple-channel XOR outputs are simultaneously achieved in the experiment.
