It is well known that magnetic properties of electrical steel sheet deteriorate in constructed cores due to residual stress during manufacturing process. In this paper, we clarify the local residual stress distribution in a rotating machine core. In addition, we examine relationships between vector magnetic property and stress based on the measured local residual stress distribution.
