A digital pre-coding based serial compressed sensing (CS) ultra-wideband (UWB) communication system is proposed. By establishing a mathematical model, signal detection is studied based on the CS theory. Simulation results in the IEEE 802.15.3a channel model show that with a low sampling rate, the proposed system can operate in a regime of heavy intersymbol interference.
