A comparison analysis on the uncertainty of the emitter coefficient of flow rate variation method for two emitter test devices is presented. The effect and adaptability of two Type A uncertainty methods, traditional and maximum entropy, are discussed for the manual and automatic emitter test devices. Several conclusions from the analysis and test date are: the automatic device has a higher accuracy...
Conceptual design is an important stage in product development. It is a hotspot that studying on modeling and simulation for schemes generated in the stage of conceptual design. The process of setting up the model of conceptual design schemes with the component library of AMESim doesn't need specific parameters, and it corresponds the characteristics of concept design; setting up the effect chains...
In this paper, a damage mechanics-based continuum theory is developed to provide a theoretical framework for multi-field problems involving moisture diffusion, heat conduction, moisture evaporation, void growth, and material deformation in a temperature and time-dependent process in encapsulated microelectronics devices. The analysis of moisture diffusion using normalized moisture concentration is...
In this work, we developed a new mobile robotic platform named MOBIT (Mobile Robot of BIT) that combines wheels, legs and tracks to move with different locomotion modes in unstructured environment. Utilizing its independent actuated arms up and down, many desired locomotion modes can be realized, which makes the robot good adaptability and high capability of obstacle negotiation for carrying out military...
The paper establishes a joint GMG-GARCH model of chaos and GARCH effect in China's stock markets. The results show that the fitted performances of the GMG-GARCH (1, 1) model are better than those of the simple GARCH model. The GMG-GARCH model not only explains the conditional variance from the general AR (1)-GARCH (1, 1) model, but also captures the chaos behaviors of stock returns.
For the purposes of investigating the free vibration response of the spatial curved beams, a set of deferential equations of motion are derived in matrix formats, considering the variable curvature and torsion. The theory includes all the effects of rotary inertia, shear and axial deformations. Frobenius' scheme and the dynamic stiffness method are then applied to solve these equations. A further...
This paper provides an advanced method of blind detection based on maximum likelihood estimate, and the scheme can be applied to MIMO systems. Firstly, a model of space-time block code system has been established and also introduces the theory of maximum likelihood estimate. Based on these theories which have been described above, through the way of adjusting steps of iterative algorithm, a balance...
