This work measured thermal stability, optical transmittance, nonlinear optical properties and supercontinuum generation of a novel TeO2-based glass and demonstrated its potential application in optical devices.
2 mum emission spectra of Tm-Ho co-doped fluorophosphate glasses are measured and investigated. When doping 4 mol% TmF3 and 1 mol%HoF3, the most intense 2.0 mum emssion is achieved. Combining the energy transfer processes, the reason is discussed.
Under 980 nm LD pumping, the up-conversion intensity of rare earth doped glass-ceramic can be observed much stronger than that in the base glass. In addition, the luminescence branching ratio changed obviously by ceramic process.
