The electronic structure of NdAg has been calculated by means of the self-consistent linear muffin-tin orbital method using the local density approximation for both the paramagnetic and ferromagnetic phases. The localised f states hybridise with the extended conduction band states. The magnetic moment in the ground state of NdAg is essentially due to Nd f electrons.
