This paper addresses the formation keeping of a network of Port-Controlled Hamiltonian(PCH) AUV multi-agent systems. The objective is solved by interconnecting agents with virtual couplings based on the internal principle, which can look into the energy consumption. Firstly, the controller for tracking estimated velocity is designed by ultilizing Hamiltonian theory. We assume that the desired velocity...
High precision positioning stage has played increasingly important role in the areas of aeronautics and astronautics, ultra-precision manufacturing and measuring, microelectronics, biological engineering, optical engineering, etc. In this paper, a piezo-powered 2D micro-positioning stage based on parallel sheet plate flexible beams is designed. A lever amplifier structure connected by circular arc...
We propose a novel fiber converting input circular polarized light to orbital angular momentum (OAM) modes. We show the generation of up to 8 OAM modes with 30-dB extinction ratio and mode purity of >96.4% using <10-mm-long fiber.
A low insertion loss optical coupler is designed using chirped high-contrast-grating hollow-core waveguide. 100% tuning of power coupling ratio is realized through mechanically adjusting the waveguide height by ∼3 um.
We propose a fiber coupler to generate up to ten orbital angular momentum modes, which can be generated with 20-dB extinction ratio and mode purity of >99% using a 2-mm-long fiber. The fiber design can be extended to enable all-fiber spatial mode (de)multiplexing.
Manufacturing cluster is a group of manufacturing enterprises and other relevant organizations. The enterprises in the cluster have a strong competitive advantage in the process of development because of the aggregation effect. At the same time the concept of coupling has also been quoted in more and more subjects. On the basis of this situation this article studies the coupling degree of the manufacturing...
This article proposes the multi-axis inversion-based (MAIIC) approach. System inverse provides a nature avenue to utilize the priori knowledge of system dynamics in iterative learning control, resulting in rapid convergence as well as exact tracking (for nonminimum-phase systems). The benefits of system inverse, however, are not fully exploited in time-domain ILCs due to the lack of uncertainty quantification...
In this paper, an inversion-based feedforward control approach to achieve high-speed, large-range probe-based nanofabrication is proposed. Probe-based nanofabrication has attracted great interests recently. However, this technique is still limited by the low-throughput due to the challenges in compensating for the adverse effects such as the nonlinear hysteresis and the vibrational dynamics of piezo...
We model and investigate experimentally the propagation of light in a triple-core photonic crystal fiber (PCF) in the nonlinear regime. Two separate nonlinear effects are identified, giving rise to two separate nonlinear ranges.
