The effects of Mn added during processing on the dielectric properties and microstructure of the BaTiO3-based ceramic materials system were discussed. Experiments show that a proper content of Mn can significantly increase dielectric constant (ε) and reduce the dielectric loss (tanδ) in BaTiO3-based X7R ceramic materials.
