This paper presents a generalized Chua-type vector hysteresis model, and a precise magnetic field analysis method is developed by combining the proposed model with the finite element method. The proposed model takes account of all the significant harmonic components of the measured H-waveforms. The validity of the proposed model is investigated through an application to a three-phase transformer model...
This paper presents finite element formulation taking account of vector hysteresis properties for electrical steel sheets. For the modeling of vector hysteresis properties, a generalized Chua-type vector hysteresis model is suggested, and incorporated with finite element analysis. Its effectiveness is verified by comparing with experimental results in three-phase transformer.
A generalized Chua-type vector hysteresis is incorporated with finite element method to analyze the iron loss of a 3MVA three-phase transformer. In the suggested method, both the alternating and rotating hysteresis losses under distorted B-waveform are taken into account.
