In this paper, a reconfigurable circularly-polarized 2×2 array antenna designed at 5.8 GHz is presented. This array will be fabricated in LTCC technology. Preliminary simulated results for right and left circular polarization show an axial ratio level below 3 dB in a beamwidth of 30 degrees on XZ and YZ planes. Also, a good impedance matching is obtained with return loss above 10 dB from 5.7 GHz to...
A compact twist connecting a Ridge-Gap Waveguide and a Groove-Gap Waveguide at 38 GHz is presented. This twist is intended for feeding an array antenna. Simulations show a return loss better than 20 dB between 37.3 GHz and 38.3 GHz. The insertion loss is below 0.4 dB within the same frequency band. This bandwidth may be enough for many applications.
