In the present work, typical cation ordering scenarios and time-temperature-transformation approach, crystal-, nano- and local structures of R 1+x Ba 2-x Cu 3 O z (R=Pr, Nd) phases are compared. Original experimental and literature data are discussed with respect to enhancing superconducting properties of these materials with advanced pinning properties.
