We demonstrate that the extracted group delay dispersion by wavelet-transform is insensitive to the path length balancing of the interferometer. This promises a flexible and robust technique for chirped mirrors characterization.
We present precisely paired chirped mirrors with controlled reflectivity, group delay and group delay dispersion of octave spanning mirror set for two different initial designs. We show the comparison of results of paired chirped mirrors for those two optimized designs.
We report the measured group delay dispersion of Yb:YAB and compared with that provided by the crystal supplier, over the wavelength from 1000 nm to 1080 nm. The data are useful for the optimization of the dispersion compensation for shorter pulse generation in Yb:YAB lasers.
