Optical complex electric field spectra of a 400 GHz optical frequency comb were controlled by a colorless optical synthesizer. The synthesized 2 THz high-speed optical waveform was measured by a proposed multi-heterodyne mixing method.
Novel method for relative phase measurement between optical longitudinal modes has been proposed and named as “dual heterodyne mixing method”. It was applied for 12.5GBps BPSK signal sensing by 200MHz low-speed receiver.
