We have programmed and simulated the 3D/4D-CAP signals with 468.75 Megabit per second (Mbps) and 416.67 Mbps over 3 km of single mode fiber (SMF) with 1310 nm single mode vertical cavity surface emitting laser (SM-VCSEL). A 1.5 dB difference have been observed between the 3D-CAP and 4D-CAP. The 3.57 b/s/Hz and 3.13 b/s/Hz of spectral efficiency are reported for 3D-CAP and 4D-CAP with receiver sensitivity...
Multiband Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) has been deployed for practical implementation of low cost and low power UWB devices due to its ability to mitigate the narrowband interference and multipath fading effects. This paper review and investigates the performance of multiband OFDM techniques for UWB system under Saleh-Valenzuela channel modelling, proposed in IEEE wireless Personal...
Paper presents the implementation of digital baseband signal processing with Output Shifted Coded Modulation (OSCM) function on Digital Signal Processor (DSP) Kit TMS320C6711. Single DSP chip is used to implement the baseband processing function due to compactness, low-power consumption and flexibility. Although FPGA is compact and high performance, it consumes much more power whereas ASIC has the...
