An urgent problem of the optimization of automated optical microscopy is considered. An approach is suggested during which variations in the brightness of a Gaussian beam in microscope optics are analyzed. A discrete (digital) model, which correlates with the continuous one, is introduced. An analytical approach to finding the maximum of a discrete function that estimates the measure of optical system...
In the article disclosed relation between antenna RCS and constructive RCS of UHF RFID tag antenna and its influence to maximal length of operative passive RFID range.
In work results of use of the hidden markov models (HMM) with initiated these models signs for classification of the signals representing a total current, removed on an entrance of an electric chain are presented. Classification of such signals with use of the k-nearest neighbor classifier (kNN) and the classifier based on a method of support vector machine (SVM) is considered.
The method of phase parameter is used for analytical description of parametric resonance in linear and nonlinear systems. By analogy, the results are applied to wave propagation in dielectric media with periodically varying parameters, such as multilayer mirror or Bragg waveguide. The problem of analytical treatment of chromatic dispersion is discussed.
Steepest decay Floquet modes of planar and cylindrical multilayer media are analytically studied. An explicit formula is derived and numerical results are presented to estimate minimal achievable radiation losses of a Bragg fiber fundamental mode.
