A new cDNA, named Ma-cm-2, encoding a chorismate mutase (CM), has been isolated from Meloidogyne arenaria. The full-length cDNA, carrying the trans-spliced SL1 leader sequence, was 753-bp long with an open reading frame of 576bp.
