This paper presents the design of a compact dual mode dual-band microstrip filter. A dual mode resonator is proposed based on the concept of SIR. The dual band filter can support CDMA and WiFi simultaneously. The measured results show that insertion loss are 0.62 dB and 1.2 dB at 0.85GHz and 2.46GHz respectively which are in excellent agreement with simulation.
This paper presents a novel dual-mode tunable bandpass filter to significantly reduce the complexity for multiband communication. A mixed coupling scheme is utilized to analysis and design the dual mode tunable filter with source - load coupling. A simple approach is proposed to extract the parameters of varactor diode. For demonstration, a tunable filter is implemented with 73 MHz 3-dB bandwidth...
This paper presents the design of two compact dual-mode open-loop microstrip filters, and their comparisons are described. In design, the dual-mode resonator is used as a doubly tuned resonant circuit, so the dimension of filter is reduced by half and compact configuration is achieved. The dimension of fabricated filter is 1.84 cm*1.84 cm on substrate with dielectric constant of 10. The measured results...
