We propose a new approach for analyzing the Japanese government bond (JGB) market using text-mining technology. First, we extracted the feature vectors of the monthly reports from the Bank of Japan (BOJ). Then, the trends in the JGB market were estimated by a regression analysis using the feature vectors. As a result of comparison with support vector regression and other methods, the proposal method...
This paper describes a Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model adopted solution to the simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) problem with two-sensor data association (TSDA) method. Fuzzy Kalman filtering of the SLAM problem (FKF-SLAM) is used in this paper together with newly proposed data association algorithm. An extended TSDA (ETSDA) method is introduced for the SLAM problem in mobile robot navigation...
We try to construct an estimation system of human behaviors, confining only the human behaviors that a robot vision head has met on, by extracting valuable information on the human behaviors from the binocular camera. Thus, in the present approach the human actions and objects related to the human behaviors are estimated by the images obtained from the camera, and their information are utilized for...
We developed extraction functions of a face candidate region with color information and parts of its face and combined them with the gender and age estimation algorithm we had already developed so that the algorithm can be applied to real time captured face images. The experimental results have shown hitting ratios of 93.1% and 58.4% for gender and age respectively.
