In this empirical note, we examine annual data to see whether growing economic interaction among Asia-Pacific economies has led to regional inter-country income convergence during 1960-2000. Although we do not find evidence of convergence for the entire sample period, we do so in the latter part of the period. This provides some empirical support for the notion that Asia-Pacific is a convergence club.
