Die erste mehrstufige asymmetrische Katalyse in einem Strömungsreaktor wurde durch einer Sequenz aus Lithiierung, Borylierung und Rhodium‐katalysierter 1,4‐Addition realisiert. Die dreistufige Sequenz geht von einfach erhältlichen, preiswerten Arylbromiden aus und liefert β‐arylierte Ketone in guten Ausbeuten und mit hohen Enantioselektivitäten.
Entscheidend für den Erfolg der Pd‐katalysierten α‐Arylierung von Oxindolen in einem Strömungsreaktor sind ein Zweiphasensystem, der Präkatalysator und ein Festbett‐Mikroreaktor. Diese Reaktion wurde in eine modulare zweistufige Sequenz zur schnellen und effizienten Synthese 3,3‐disubstituierter Oxindole in einem kontinuierlichen Strömungsverfahren eingegliedert.
