This work is aimed to study the effect of unsaturation degree on microwave-assisted pyrolysis (MAP) of fatty acid salts. Sodium stearate, sodium oleate, and sodium linoleate were selected as model compounds. MAP of sodium oleate obtained the highest yield of liquid product.
