We investigated the reach increase obtained through non-linearity mitigation by means of transmission symbol rate optimization (SRO). First, we did this theoretically and simulatively. We found that for PM-QPSK systems at full-C-band the reach increase may be substantial, on the order of 10%–25%, with optimum symbol rates on the order of 2-to-6 GBaud. We extended the investigation to PM-16QAM, where...
We investigate the reach-increase obtained by optimizing the transmission symbol rate. We show that for PM-QPSK systems at full-C-band the increase may be larger than obtained through ideal single-channel backward-propagation, and similar for PM-16QAM.
We investigate the dependence of maximum system reach on symbol rate. We identify a suitable modeling framework and derive a closed-form formula for the optimum rate, typically 2-to-10 GBaud. Maximum reach gains are between 5% and 20%.
As an alternative of traditional extraction method, pressurized liquid extraction (PLE) was applied for five flavanoids extraction from Lysimachia clethroide. The operational parameters of PLE, such as extraction solvent, temperature, pressure, static extraction time, flush volume and cycles were optimized by univariate approach coupled with central composite design (CCD) in order to obtain the highest...
