Adding a ring-resonator-assisted MZI for preprocessing improves the selectivity of ROADMs, enabling cascades of ROADMs to process N-WDM superchannels. We experimentally investigate the N-WDM superchannels performance with high-order QAM after filtered by cascaded enhanced ROADMs.
We experimentally demonstrate optical generation of a super-channel of 7 × 12.5 Gbaud QPSK-modulated subcarriers at Nyquist spacing, using a flat-top interleaver. The interleaver comprises a two-ring-resonator-assisted Mach-Zehnder interferometer with only an 8% excess bandwidth at 25-dB stopband suppression.
We propose a novel single-channel Faster-than-Nyquist-DFT-S-OFDM transmitter that allows the sub-bands' spectra overlap flexibly. By combing duobinary filtering to mitigate inter-sub-band interference, 12% more spectral efficiency is demonstrated in a super-channel experiment over 3360-km transmission.
Collaborative filtering has been very successful in both research and applications. The K-nearest neighbor (KNN) method is a popular way for its realizations. Its key technique is to find k nearest neighbors for a given user to predict his interests. User-based clustering algorithms of collaborative filtering classify the users into some clusters and select top-N neighbors by using all items to compute...
