Wechselwirkungen auf allen Ebenen: Ein supramolekulares Polymer mit hohem Polymerisationsgrad wurde auf der Basis mehrfacher wirtstabilisierter Charge‐Transfer‐Wechselwirkungen konstruiert (siehe Bild; DADV: ein Dianthracenylbis(bipyridiniumbromid), CB[8]=Cucurbit[8]uril). Wechselwirkungen zwischen Ketten des supramolekularen Polymers führen auch zur Bildung eines reversiblen Gels.
