A sensitive biosensor based on localized surface plasmon resonance of gold nanorods is fabricated to detect streptavidin. Gold nanorods are immobilized on glass through BSA-biotin instead of chemisorbed method. The detection limit is 1 muM.
We report a sensitive nanosensor based on a micro-fluidic chip and nanoparticles to detect low concentrations of DNA. The emission of CdSe/ZnS-QDs linked with single strand DNAs was quenched by gold nanoparticles linked with the complementary sequences after hybridization. Sensitively detected signal of DNA was obtained from a 100 mum capillary.
